AmaWaterways Unveils New Chef's Table Tasting Menu

AmaWaterways recently announced that it has enhanced its onboard culinary offerings, revamping the menu in its signature Chef’s Table Restaurant.
The reinvented Chef’s Table will feature a tasting menu with three appetizers, a champagne sorbet intermezzo, three main courses and three desserts, serving up a variety of regional specialties and traditional dishes.
At the Chef’s Table, which seats 28 guests per evening, a demonstration kitchen is part of the entertainment as passengers can watch the chef prepare a multi-course dinner.

Each course is paired with a hand-selected regional wine. One aspect of the new menu that was recently introduced to rave reviews on ships within the line’s European fleet includes tasting main courses of Cod Fillet with Beurre Blanc and Crayfish Cake, served along with Blanquette de veau charolais with saffron and a side dish of Porcini Ravioli with Truffle Mousseline and fresh asparagus.

“At AmaWaterways, we enjoy constantly experimenting with new ways to improve the guest experience, and the area of food and wine is one where we can really have a lot of fun, bringing in local and regional flavors to offer something that can’t be found elsewhere,” said Rudi Schreiner, president and co-owner of AmaWaterways, in a written release.
In addition to the specialty restaurant experience, AmaWaterways features an award-winning main dining room, a selection of tapas in between lunch and dinner, complimentary, unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks with lunch and dinner and sparkling wine with breakfast.
